Daniel’s Music Foundation Website Redesign

The challenge

Daniel’s Music Foundation (DMF) changes lives in the disability community through their vibrant music and awareness programs. While their music center is based in New York City, they’ve been expanding their online programs to amplify their impact around the country. They needed a new website to keep up with their dreams, empowering people of all abilities to join their community and sparking excitement in donors.

My role

As the writer for this project, I collaborated with my multi-disciplinary colleagues and the core team at DMF to bring the experience to life through words. I contributed to everything from concepting to content strategy and accessibility best practices, not only for individual web pages but also for the nuanced sign-up flows for DMF’s diverse programs.

I also crafted a voice and tone guide, which I then used to write all of the copy for the website—creating an online experience just as warm and welcoming as DMF’s in-person music center.
